Georgia's high school seniors have closed out the last day of classes with the ringing of the 'Last Bell' today.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili congratulated high school seniors on the completion of their secondary studies and wished them success 'in taking new steps in the path of your life'.

He said that the state, in turn, will do its utmost to ensure that young people have every opportunity for a peaceful and happy life and development.

I am sure that you will devote all your energy to learning and development in the future, and with your knowledge and professionalism you will faithfully serve our country, you will take care of the better future of it", said Garibashvili.

In addition to the nationwide ringing of the 'Last Bell', the soon-to-be graduates typically celebrate the day by dancing, wearing white T-shirts on which they write good wishes to each other with a felt-tip pen, giving and receiving flowers and hugging their classmates goodbye.
