‘Borderisation’, illegal detentions, Covid-19 in focus of recent IPRM meeting

The 99th Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) held in Ergneti, close to the Russian-occupied Tskhinvali region earlier today, focused on issues ‘pertaining to stabilisation and normalisation’, the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) has announced.

The participants of the meeting discussed ‘borderisation’ processes along the administrative boundary line, detention cases and wider effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
