A total of 1,097 cases of coronavirus, 3,208 recoveries and 25 deaths have been reported over the last 24 hours in Georgia.
Out of the 1,097 new cases:
The new cases have been confirmed after conducting 8,394 tests throughout the country, including 4,401 PCR tests and 3,993 antigen tests.
As of now Georgia has confirmed 221,605 cases of COVID-19 since late February, including 203,547 recoveries and 2,377 deaths. 15,655 individuals remain infected with the virus.

Archbishop Iakob of Bodbe, who recently tested positive for coronavirus, is currently undergoing treatment at First University Clinic in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.
Meanwhile, police continues to monitor adhesion to regulations aimed at preventing the further spread of the virus.

The Georgian Interior Ministry again calls on citizens to adhere to the coronavirus-related regulations introduced on November 26.
Failure to abide by the obligation to wear a face mask in public is punishable by a fine of 20 GEL. Meanwhile, violation of the rules of isolation and quarantine shall result in administrative liability and a fine to the amount of 2,000 GEL for individuals and 10,000 GEL for a legal entity.
