A total of 1,928 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Georgia over the last 24 hours, increasing the number of total confirmed cases to 28,431.
Meanwhile, 604 people have recovered and eight more have died.

Sichinava also announced that as of now the number of active coronavirus cases stands at 17,437, while 429 patients are incritical conditions.
Moreover, 3,766 individuals are going under treatment at hospitals, 2,268 people are placed in special treatment hotels, 11,403 others are being treated at home, while 26,533 people remain in self-isolation.
