Traffic has been restricted in Daba Laituri, in Ozurgeti municipality as an increased number of coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the area.
The entry and the exit of the population in Laituri will be monitored by law enforcers. Thermal screening of the population will be carried out," says the announcement of the City Hall of Ozurgeti.

As of now, 84 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Guria since September 4. In Ozurgeti, 61 coronavirus cases were confirmed, out of which 11 are confirmed in Daba Laituri.
Several school students and teachers have tested positive for the virus in Daba Laituri, so the public school has been closed and students have started studying remotely.
Georgia has reported 265 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today.
Georgia has had 4,399 cases of the coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 1,705 of the 4,399 have recovered, while 25 have died.
As of today 2,669 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country.

Georgian state and health officials again call on everyone to maintain social distancing, wear face masks and wash hands frequently.
