Georgia confirmed 187 new coronavirus cases, including 30 in Tbilisi

A total of 187 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia in the last 24 hours.

The medical director of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital Marina Ezugbaia told journalists today that 0ut of the 187 new cases:

  • 30 were reported in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi
  • 116 were reported in the region of Adjara
  • 15 were reported in the region of Imereti
  • 11 were reported in the region of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti
  • 4 were reported in the region of Guria
  • 3 were reported in the region of Kakheti
  • 3 were reported in the region of Shida Kartli
  • 2 were reported in the region of Kvemo Kartli
  • 2 were reported in the region of Mtskheta-Mtianeti
  • 1 was reported in the region of Samtskhe-Javakheti

Meanwhile, Ezugbaia also noted that 46 patients have recovered from the coronavirus.

Overall, since February 26 Georgia has confirmed 3,306 cases of COVID-19, including 1,481 recoveries and 19 deaths.
