Wizz Air to restore flights from Kutaisi to Riga starting October

Wizz Air will restore direct flights from Kutaisi to Riga starting October 1, said Georgia Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia earlier today.

Flights will be carried out once a week.

We should act carefully in speeding up the economy...we will continue opening Georgia’s skies carefully and gradually, based on the epidemiological situatuon and economic interests," said Gakharia.

Georgia has opened its borders for travellers from Germany, France, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia.

All five countries have also opened borders for Georgia.

In addition, Georgia is on a list of countries to enter the European Union as of July 1.
