Georgia reports 18 new cases of coronavirus

Georgia has reported 18 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today, bringing the total number of cases to 1,487.
As of today, 19 more patients have recovered, reaching the total number of recovered people to 1,240.

Medical Director of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital Marina Ezugbaia said that the that two seven patients contracted the virus from contact from infected individuals, 11 cases were ‘imported’ of which two are truck drivers.
Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, 19 people have died of the virus.
As of now, 5,524 people are in quarantine, while 221 are in hospital.
Seven more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Georgia increasing the total number of confirmed cases to 1469. With the recent 25 recoveries the number of recovered individuals now stands at 1221.
Medical Director of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital Marina Ezugbaia said that three out of the seven people had contact with infected individuals, two cases are ‘imported’ while the source of infection of two others is yet unknown.
Georgia has reported eight new cases of the coronavirus earlier today, bringing the total number of cases to 1,455.

Georgia has reported 38 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today, which is a record high number since April 16 when 42 cases of coronavirus were detected. 22 new patients contracted the virus from the cluster of confectionery Dona in Georgia's Black Sea resort town of Batumi, seven cases from contact from infected individuals, four cases were ‘imported’ of which two are truck drivers and the source of infections has not been identified in the remaining five cases.
