Georgia has reported nine new cases of coronavirus increasing the total number of cases to 1394.
Meanwhile, four patients have recovered from the virus, bringing the total recoveries to 1132.
As of today a total of 6903 individuals remain under quarantine across the country, while 278 people go under stationary treatment.
Unfortunately, 17 infected individuals have died of the coronavirus-related complications.
Reportedly, the Tbilisi-based Infectious Diseases and AIDS Centre will continue receiving coronavirus-infected individuals as the government has given it a greenlight to use up to 300,000 GEL for emergency.
The Head of Infectious Diseases and AIDS Centre Tengiz Tsertsvadze said earlier today that the centre has suspended reception of patients for stationary treatment due to its difficult operating conditions. However, Tsertsvadze noted that the centre will continue receptio of those infected individuals who need ambulatory care.

An eighteenth person has died from coronavirus in Georgia, reports StopCov.ge, the state-run website created in March 2020 to inform the public about the coronavirus situation in the country. A total of 1,421 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the country. 1,137 people have recovered. 7,005 people are in quarantine and 255 are under medical supervision at hospitals.
