25 fitness clubs, 17 pools allowed to reopen after satisfying Health Ministry coronavirus regulations

A total of 25 out of 64 inspected fitness centers have been allowed to reopen after passing Ministry of Health inspections, while of 30 inspected swimming pools, only 17 passed.  

Gyms, fitness clubs have been given the green light to reopen in Georgia after passing inspections by the Labour Conditions Inspection Department.

Before entering buildings, staff and customers must undergo thermal screening. Inside, social distancing of two meters must be observed. 

As for group classes, no more than 10 individuals will be allowed to exercise in one area at a time.

In pools, maintaining social distancing of two meters between poolside chairs is obligatory.

Customers will be obliged to wear masks in closed areas of the facility.
