Batumi State University expanding, opening technology park in autumn

Construction of a new campus building of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and Technology Park is coming to an end in the Black Sea resort town of Batumi, in the Adjara region of Georgia.

The government of Adjara announced that the university building as well as the Technology Park will start operating in autumn.

In total 11 professional programmes designed for 255 students will be available in the university building. Adapted lecture-rooms, laboratories, computer classes, a library, and reading rooms will be created for each programme. Also, a training center will be opened in the building.

Technology Park will be opened in the same university building where youth will be given the opportunity to develop innovative ideas with state support. 

The government of Adjara allocated about 3 million GEL for the construction of the university building of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.
