The Georgian State Security Service says that the hot line has been activated and the country’s international partners have been informed regarding the abduction of three Georgian citizens by the Russian-controlled occupation forces on June 6 near occupied Abkhazia.
The agency says that the European Union Monitoring Mission and the co-chairs of the Geneva International Discussions have been informed instantly.
The individuals were abducted near the village of Pakhulani, Tsalenjikha municipality.
They have not been released so far.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry says that Russia doubled its occupation efforts during the pandemic.
