Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has presented new projects today that will be implemented in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi soon.
The new projects are:
Kaladze said that the reconstruction of Mziuri Park is at the last stage.
During the second stage a pedestrian bridge will be built which will connect Mziuri Park to the nearby zoo.
Tbilisi City Hall will start renovating Baratashvili Street that connects Baratashvili Bridge to Orbeliani square. Both Baratashvili Bridge and Orbeliani Square have recently been renovated. Kaladze said that now it is time to renovate the Baratashvili Street, where a new cover of asphalt will be laid, pavements will be repaired as will electricity transmission lines, poles and underground communications.
Kaladze said that Ketevan Tsamebuli Avenue will also be renovated. About 13 million GEL will be spent renovating the 2 km long avenue that starts from the Avlabari Metro station and ends at Lekh Kachinski street. The avenue will also receive a new cover of asphalt, sidewalks, electricity poles and underground communication lines will be repaired.
Kaladze said that the renovation of Chavchavadze Avenue in Vake district of Tbilisi is nearing completion, as are Vekua and Khizanishvili streets in Gldani district.
