The Tbilisi City Hall will not allow recreational spaces and sports fields to be sacrificed for the construction of buildings or offices, says Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, noting that there is enough space in the city for developers to carry out projects they have planned.

There was a time when construction was carried out at the expense of sports fields and recreational spaces...this cannot and will not happen under conditions of our government,” said Kaladze.

Kaladze noted that the Tbilisi City Hall will do its best to create many green areas in the city.

[The Tbilisi City Hall] will do its best to create as many green spaces as possible in the capital so that people have the opportunity to relax in a pleasant, green environment with children and grandchildren,” said Kaladze.

Kaladze noted that many projects have been implemented to construct recreational spaces and this process will continue.
