The renovation of Tbilisi’s Mziuri Park, which was damaged during the June 13, 2015 flood, is currently ongoing and will be fully completed by spring 2020, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced today.
An artificial lake, skateboard parks and small football fields will be built in the park.
Bicycle paths have been already set up, new led lightning system and electric towers have been already installed.
Kaladze mentioned that new gardens and recreation areas will soon appear in the lower part of Mziuri Park.

Within the framework of this project, Tbilisi City Hall plans to build a bridge that will connect Khiliani At, Tbilisi Zoo and Mziuri Park to each other”, said Kaladze.
Mziuri will be one of the best locations for recreation in the center of the capital city with renovated green areas and tree parks. The project includes the construction of public toilets that will be adopted for people with disabilities and for parents who drive children in a stroller”, said the Infrastructure Minister Maia Tskitishvili,
