Police have fined 238 people for violating state of emergency regulations and curfew during the last 24 hours in Georgia.

The Interior Ministry again calls on everyone to follow the regulations of the state of emergency, otherwise individuals will face a fine of 3,000 GEL, while legal entities will face a fine of 15,000 GEL; repeat offence is punishable by three years in prison.
As of now, Georgia has confirmed 170 cases of coronavirus, including 36 recoveries and two deaths.
Georgia has declared the state of emergency until April 21. Tougher restrictions to contain the spread of the virus include a nationwide curfew that takes effect from 21:00 – 06:00 during the state of emergency.
