Coronavirus: recoveries increase to 36 out of 170 confirmed cases

A total of 36 individuals have recovered out of the 170 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Georgia. 

As of now 131 individuals remain infected, while two foreigners returned to their respective country when they tested positive for the coronavirus in March. 

 The country reported its first case of mortality yesterday.

A woman, 79 from the eastern Georgian region of Bolnisi, who was hospitalised in Tbilisi on March 31, suffered from pneumonia, as well as critical respiratory distress.
