Tbilisi International Airport among top 10 in Eastern Europe

Tbilisi International Airport has been named one of the best airports in Eastern Europe for the sixth time in a row by Skytrax World Airport Awards, the most prestigious accolades for the global airport industry.

In the results of a survey of air-travellers – International Airports of Budapest, Tallinn, Kiev- Boryspil, Bucharest, Belgrade, Tbilisi, Riga, Bratislava, Zagreb and Sofia have been named as the best 10 airports of Eastern Europe of 2019 year”, stated TAV Georgia, the sole operator of Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports.

The World Airport Awards are based on 13 million customer nominations across 106 nationalities of air travellers, and included 550 airports worldwide. 

The survey evaluates customer satisfaction across 39 key performance indicators for airport service and products.
