Consulate of Serbia to be opened in Tbilisi, Georgia

Serbia’s Honorary Consulate will be opened in Tbilisi, the decree was signed by the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia.

An exact date for the opening has not been named. 

The consulate will cover the whole territory of Georgia.

Diplomatic relations between Georgia and Republic of Serbia were established on June 26, 1995.

The Georgian and Serbian foreign ministers signed a visa free deal between the two countries on March 7, 2018.

Later, in March 2019, a Georgian consulate was opened in Serbia’s capital of Belgrade.
