Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Vladimir Orlić, the President of the Serbian National Assembly, on Monday highlighted their countries’ “common aspirations” for European Union membership in a Tbilisi meeting.
The Georgian Government Administration said the discussion at the PM’s office had also reviewed “growing dynamics” in trade and other relations, as well as the importance of further strengthening existing economic ties.
The officials also stressed their governments` “effective cooperation” both in bilateral and regional formats.
Garibashvili thanked the visiting official for his country’s “unwavering support” for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, before confirming his Government's “clear position” on Serbia’s territorial issues.
