The number of Georgian asylum seekers in Denmark has decreased three times compared to last year, Danish Immigration Service reports.
81 applications were submitted by Georgian citizens in January-August this year, while 264 Georgian citizens applied for asylum in Denmark in the same period of 2018.
A total of 402 Georgian citizens applied for asylum in Denmark last year, however none of them received asylum in the country.
Georgia was in third place after Eritrea and Syria at this rate in 2018.
