Russian occupation forces have appeared near the village of Chorchana, Khashuri Municipality today.
The village is located in the vicinity of the Russia - occupied Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region.
The State Security Service of Georgia reports that military equipment of the occupation forces has been detected moving in the area.

The Security Service says the action represents ‘a deliberate provocation’ and significantly affects stability in the area.
The hotline has been activated and EUMM has been informed,” the State Security Service reports.
The issue will be discussed at the upcoming meeting of Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism Meeting (IPRM) in the occupied Ergneti village of the Russia-Occupied Tskhinvali region today.
The Russian occupation forces erected a new border in the village of Gugutiantkari this month.
Two residential houses ended up beyond the ‘border’ as a result.
