Firefighters are still working to fully extinguish the fire that broke out in a forest near the village of Sakavre, in Georgia’s Shida Kartli region a couple of days ago.
The Emergency Management Service of the Georgian Interior Ministry said the fire has been contained and there is no threat of its spreading further.
The situation is under full control”, the Emergency Management Service reported.
Three border police helicopters are also helping firefighters combat the fire.

A fire also broke out in the forest near the village of Akhalsopeli, in Georgia’s eastern region of Kakheti.
Firefighters and a border police helicopter are trying to put it out as well.
