Major roads in some regions of Georgia are closed or restricted to certain types of vehicles due to intense snow, ice and risk of avalanche.
On the section of the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road near the village Igoeti, traffic is under the supervision of the patrol police while snow cleaning work is being carried out at the same time.
20 cars crashed into each other last night at three different parts of the Igoeti section of the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road due to the bad weather conditions.
