Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani has viewed a panneau of Georgian queen Ketevan in Lisbon, on the wall of the Graca cathedral, depicting the torture of the queen in 1624 in Iran, when she refused to give up the Christian faith and convert to Islam.

The government of Georgia allocated funds for the restoration of the panneau in 2017, which is three meters in height and 12 meters in width.

The panneau is the only graphical image of the martyrdom of the queen and it is made in the traditional Portugalian style.
