Tbilisi City Hall cancels agreement with parking management company City Park

Tbilisi City Hall is canceling its agreement with parking management City Park company due to the "irresponsible and unlawful performance of public authorities”.
Tbilisi City Hall has decided to terminate the agreement with City Park starting from April 10, 2018", announced Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze today.
Kaladze explained that the reason behind the decision was the "irresponsible and unlawful performance of public authorities”.
From April 10, Tbilisi Transport Company will fulfill the functions of City Park until a new parking system is established in the capital, announced Tbilisi Mayor.
Company City Park was the winner of a tender announced by the Tbilisi government in 2007, upon which it was granted the right of parking management in Tbilisi on a 15 year lease.
Kaladze stated that Tbilisi City Hall is striving to create a modern and fair parking system which will be oriented on the creation of new parking spaces in the city.
