Interior Ministry’s Special Task Group undergoes mountain training in Gudauri

17 members of the Georgian Interior Ministry’s Special Tasks Group have gone through basic exercises on how to overcome obstacles on snowy landscapes in Georgia’s Gudauri resort, in the country’s east.

The exercises aimed at improving the skills and ability of ski patrols to better help people in wintertime conditions.

The course was guided by instructors from the Special Tasks Group and Sachkhere Mountain Training School. At the end of the course the participants received certificates of successful course completion.

According to the Interior Ministry, ski patrols have helped 143 people this year.
