Passenger cars are now allowed to move on the Gudauri-Kobi part of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi motorway where cleaning work has been carried out since morning amid snowslide risks.
Cars were stuck until the work was carried out.
The roads department says that trailers are still prohibited from moving on the motorway because of heavy snowfall and ice.
Patrol police is observing car traffic on the Gudauri-Kobi road currently.
