Georgian PM attends official reception organised by US President and his wife

Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze has attended an official reception organised by US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump for the heads of delegations of the countries which participate in the 73th UN General Assembly (UNGA).

The reception was held yesterday in New York.

Georgian Prime Minister Bakhtadze is scheduled to deliver his speech at UNGA today.

The 73rd session of the UN General Assembly opened on 18 September.

Maria Fernanda Espinosa Garces, President-elect of the 73rd session of UNGA, announced in July 2018 that the theme of the general debate will be, ‘Making the United Nations Relevant to All People: Global Leadership and Shared Responsibilities for Peaceful, Equitable and Sustainable
