New video shows why Georgia should host the winter Olympic Games

Georgia is striving to show the world its diverse and iconic winter areas as the best places to experience an unforgettable winter adventure.
For this reason a new six-minute video 'Discover Georgia' has been released, showing the combination of dozens of breathtaking views of Georgia’s six main mountain resorts – Gudauri, Bakuriani, Mestia, Goderdzi, Bakhmaro and Racha.
The video not only encourages winter enthusiasts to visit Georgia and hit the mountain slopes here, but also shows the country’s favourable investment environment, its leading positions in international rankings, its cultural heritage and strategically important location.
The video gives all reasons to tourists as well as investors to come to Georgia and enjoy the magnificent mountain ranges that cover 65 percent of the country.
Georgia offers unlimited possibilities to those who love winter sports. Here you can embrace freedom, discover the passion and follow your dreams. Now our ambition is to host the international winter sports competitions,” says the video.
As Georgia’s goal is to become the host country of the Olympic winter sports competitions, the country’s government has already started negotiations in this direction.
