Georgia: Country presentation at Euromoney Forum in Austria

Georgia’s Finance Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze has highlighted the progress, economic growth of Georgia and the country’s investment opportunities at the 22nd Euromoney Central and Eastern European (CEE) Forum in Vienna, Austria.
Bakhtadze is participating in the annual Euromoney CEE Forum which is taking place in Vienna, bringing together hundreds of issuers, investors and policy makers from the region and beyond.
Within his visit, Bakhtadze met representatives of different financial institutions with whom he again spoke about Georgia’s already implemented and upcoming reforms.
"There is a big interest in the reforms that we have already implemented. It is pleasant to hear that professionals positively assess the action plan that we set for the year of 2018,” said Bakhtadze.
Georgia will share with Indonesia its experience in a number of directions including anti-corruption policy, e-governance, cyber security, as the two countries have signed a memorandum of cooperation. Signing the memorandum yesterday, Georgia’s Justice Minister Thea Tsulukiani said Georgia will help Indonesia solve its problems in public service distribution on the example of Georgia’s Public Service Halls.
Cooperation between Georgia and European Investment Bank (EIB), and Georgia’s ongoing and forthcoming projects were among the issues Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and EIB Vice-President Vazil Hudak discussed today.
Georgia’s Economy Minister Dimitry Kumsishvili encourages investors, attending the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, to invest in Georgia.
The second Silk Road Forum, titled ‘Tbilisi Belt and Road Forum’ continues in Georgia’s capital with a panel discussion titled ‘Use Investment Opportunities’. The first session under this panel, Georgia’s Investment and Trade Opportunities, is being moderated by well-known media consultant Jan Burel.
