Nine Georgian wine companies participated at one of the largest wine fairs in Brussels, Belgium – Megavino 2017.
A large number of wine lovers and wine producers gathered at the wine fair in Brussels to taste some of the best wines in the world. With their own glass, the visitors walked around the exhibition hall and discovered 300 wine exhibitors presenting thousands of delicious wine brands from more than thirty countries, including these wine companies from Georgia:

- Vaziani
- Chateau Nekresi
- Kimerioni
- Kakhetian Wine Cellar
- Telavi Wine Cellar
- Tbilvino
- Koncho and Company

This was the first time Georgian wine companies participated in the Megavino 2017 wine exhibition, held in Brussels on October 20-23.
Head of Marketing and Public Relations department of the National Wine Agency Irakli Cholobargia led the Georgian wine tasting event, which was held within the Megavino 2017.
Megavino focused on the origin of wines and the life of the wine growers. Wine contests, workshops, conferences, tips on how to associate wine with food, wine accessories and other activities were held during the event.
A group of wine professionals from the Netherlands, including wine importers, wine writers and sommeliers will visit Georgia in September to learn more about country’s rich wine history and culture.
A group of Dutch wine importers has visited Georgia to explore the rich history and culture of Georgian wine and learn about the country’s wine market.
A large-scale advertising campaign is planned for Georgian wine, which will be launched by international communication and marketing agency for food, wine, and lifestyle Sopexa.
A Georgian wine company is returning from a prestigious French wine competition with a Gold Special Trophy.
Georgia’s stand ‘Taste of Georgia’’ was represented at the annual WineWeekend event in Rijswijk, the Netherlands, where Georgian wines were showcased.
