Agile Spirit 2017 multinational drills, involving more than 1,500 soldiers from seven countries, ended today.
The final ceremony started by a minute silence to the Georgian soldiers died on duty and the victims of September 11 terrorist attack in the US.
Georgian defence and state officials, as well as foreign representations attended the closing ceremony, where soldiers conducted sample training.
An exhibition of military techniques also took place.

Nine Georgian soldiers received special awards for their military achievements.
The Georgian and foreign officials stressed the drills were successful.
The exercise involved soldiers from Georgia, the United States (US), Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Latvia, Romania and Ukraine.

Led by the General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces (GAF) and US Marine Corps, the Agile Spirit drills aimed to train and improve interoperability between participants, support regional security and improve operational skills.
The Agile Spirit drills were first held in 2011 and were held in a bilateral format between the GAF and US military.
