3 Georgian soldiers injured in Afghanistan

Three Georgian solders serving in a peacekeeping mission in the Afghan province of Parwan were injured in a suicide bomb attack.

Three Georgian soldiers have been wounded during a terror attack today on the Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.

According to the Georgian Defense Ministry, the health condition of senior lieutenant Iveri Buadze is critical and he is in need of surgery.

Sergeant Giorgi Tsikarishvili and soldier Irakli Kuchukhidze have been slightly injured. However, they both feel fine.

All three wounded are going though intensive medical treatment at the military hospital of the Bagram Air Base.

The military servicemen of the Georgian Armed Forces were participating in the NATO Resolute Support mission.
