The Government of China has gifted a new combined mobile container/transport inspection system to Georgia.

Georgia’s Finance Minister Dimitry Kumsishvili and Ambassador of China to Georgia JI Yanchi signed the agreement on acceptance today.

In 2015 the Government of China allocated $4 million to Georgia to purchase a new combined mobile container/transport inspection system.

The system was installed at the Kazbegi Customs checkpoint at the Georgia-Russia border in May 2017.

A combined mobile container/transport inspection system will help to check the trucks with a roentgen scanner without unpacking the goods.
