Georgia among special guests at China’s largest exhibition

Georgia will be among the special guests of one of the largest investment and commercial exhibitions in China which will be held on September 18-21.
Approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the China International Fair for Investment & Trade is China's only international investment promotion event aimed at facilitating bilateral investment.
Georgia has been granted an honored country’s status and special exhibition space has been allocated for it.
During the exhibition different agencies - ‘Produce in Georgia’, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Ministry of Energy and Foreign Ministry - will highlight the potential of Georgia’s business climate, investment and trade capabilities.
On the first day of the exhibition, on September 18, a Georgia-China Business Forum is scheduled to be held, which will be opened by Georgia’s Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Agriculture.
The Government of China has gifted a new combined mobile container/transport inspection system to Georgia.
A major celebration marking the Georgia-China Friendship Day and 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries has taken place in the centre of Tbilisi today.
