Jordan delegation visits Georgia to explore opportunities

A group of Jordanian businessmen are visiting Georgia to learn the investment opportunities of the county.

Representatives from Jordan’s business and exporter’s associations and leaders of about 10 companies are in Georgia today. They were invited by Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs within the Economic Diplomacy initiative.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia continues cooperating with its partner countries within the Economy Diplomacy. The visit of Jordan businessmen to Georgia is one of the examples of successful cooperation. The Jordan delegation includes investors from manufacturing, agriculture, textile and hotel infrastructure fields,” said Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Jalagania after meeting the foreign delegation.

At the meeting Jalagania introduced Georgia’s investment opportunities to the potential investors. The sides also discussed bilateral trade and economic relations.

Jalagania hoped the Jordan delegation’s visit to Georgia would have a positive result which would deepen economic ties between the two countries.
