The Chief Prosecutor's Office of Georgia has presented its annual report detailing the most common crimes in Georgia and other statistics.
The country's Chief Prosecutor Irakli Shotadze presented the annual report to the Council of Prosecutors yesterday.

While commenting on the data, Georgia’s Minister of Justice Thea Tsulukiani said the figures were alarming however people now felt more comfortable reporting crimes than in the past.
She noted more than 900 people reported cases of domestic violence this year while only 58 people did so two years ago.
"I want to once again call on all people; women, the elderly children and men, who could be victims of domestic violence to go to police because it is absolutely not right when family members commit violence against each other,” Tsulukiani said.
