Georgian prisoner breaks world record for one-legged squats [VIDEO]

A Georgian prisoner has broken a world record for the most number of one-legged squats on a horizontal beam.
The inmate, only identified as J.Z. completed 37 pistol squats in 60 seconds - beating the former record of 30 pistol squats set by Italian man Silvio Sabba.
Head of the Georgian Records Federation David Begiashvili explained the record was 30 pistol squats and anything more than that would break the world record.
After the inmate made his attempt Begiashvili said inmate J.Z. was the first Georgian prisoner to break the world record.
The inmate was pleased with his efforts, promised to improve his results and said he would continue training to break the record again in the future.
