Georgia’s Foreign Minister is going to Germany tomorrow to meet government officials and share the economic potential of Georgia with German investors.
Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili will visit Germany’s capital Berlin for a two-day official visit, starting October 28.
While abroad Kvirikashvili will discuss Georgia’s investment environment, as well as the current state and future potential of Georgian-German trade and economic cooperation, thanks to the Georgia-European Union Association Agreement (AA) deal, including the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA), which came into force last year.
The official agenda of Kvirikashvili’s visit noted he would meet members of the German Economy Eastern Committee, where he will talk about the Caucasus region’s business and investment opportunities. He is also scheduled to meet representatives from German medium-sized businesses.
While visiting Germany, Kvirikashvili was due to meet his German counterpart at the Bundestag (German Parliament) and discuss the Georgia-Germany relationship.
Minister Kvirikashvili’s official visit is due to end on October 29.
