Kazakhstan’s growing airline, Bek Air, is launching flights between Georgia and Kazakhstan this month.
From tomorrow, June 7, 2015 Bek Air will operate flights from its two cities Aktau and Atyrau to Georgia’s Kutaisi International Airport.
Passengers will be able to use Bek Air’s service until October 2015.
Bek Air is the latest of several low-cost carriers who recently announced they would begin flights into and out of Georgia. Others include Ellinair of Greece and Pegasus of Turkey. These two airlines and Bek Air will begin flights to Georgia this month.
Meanwhile another Kazakh airline, Air Astana, launched its first Astana-Tbilisi flight yesterday, connected the countries’ capitals with air traffic.
The flights between Tbilisi and Astana will be carried out two times per week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays with an Embraer E-190 plane.
Earlier Georgia’s Economy Minister announced 13.5 million international tourists visited Georgia from October 2012 to April 2015.
