Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs salutes approval of Ukraine’s new government and expresses readiness to work with the new administration.
On the Ministry’s official website, a special statement was released regarding their ratification of Ukraine’s new leaders.
The new government has particular importance and responsibility in normalizing the difficult ongoing processes in the country, the statement said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia hoped the new Ukrainian government would act to meet the expectations of the Ukrainian people.
[We] hope the new administration will overcame the crisis, maintain the unity of the country, and protect its territorial integrity, sovereignty and rule of law. We hope there is democratic conduct of presidential elections and political and economic stability and development, which will play a decisive role for Ukraine to take its dignified place in the large European family, Ministry stated.
At t the end of the statement, the Ministry expressed solidarity to the Ukrainian people.
[We] wish the new government success in this very difficult stage of history of the country and on behalf of the [Georgian] Government, we express readiness to work with the new Ukrainian government and if they desire, share its experience in the process of building the state.
