Casualties in Ukraine “deeply concern” Georgian PM

Georgias Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said the current situation in Ukraine is deeply concerning, in a special statement this evening.

"We are closely observing the latest developments in our partner country, Ukraine. We are deeply concerned over the causalities resulting from the events in the streets of Kiev. We express our deep sorrow over this fact," Irakli Garibashvili said in a statement.

"We condemn any violence and hope that the Ukrainian Government and society as a whole will show prudence and ensure against further violence", he said.

We believe that our Ukrainian friends will be able to peacefully negotiate and focus on necessary political issues to enhance the countrys democratic development, he added.
