At today’s Government meeting, Ministers discussed and approved the ‘Produce in Georgia’ project.

The program was first presented on May 19 and will come into force on June 1.

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, who initially came up with the idea, believed the project would rebuild Georgian production in every region, district and village and bolster its revival.

He said the program would initially support any entrepreneur who decided to create a new industrial or agriculture enterprise.

In this instance, the Government would offer assistance to the entrepreneur financially, infrastructure (real estate) and consulting assistance.

For more information about the project, citizens can contact hotline operators on Monday to Friday between 10am and 7pm by phoning 2 99 10 44.

If people can’t access a phone, all relevant information is available on the project’s official webpage www.qartuli.ge.
