Georgian police have arrested 11 individuals, including a foreign citizen, for illegal purchase and possession of large quantities of drugs in the cities of Tbilisi and Rustavi on Thursday, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia announced.
Identified only through their initials, the apprehended persons include six drug dealers, among whom one is a foreign citizen.
Police officers seized four packages of marijuana, four packages of cannabis, two packages of heroin, 43 pills of buprenorphine, Alpha-PVP, and a large amount of money, the Ministry said.
The crime is punishable by eight to 20 years in prison, or life imprisonment.
