Georgian athletes won gold, silver and bronze medals in the first stage of the Beach Wrestling World Series in Sarigerme, Turkey’s holiday location, the National Wrestling Federation of Georgia said on Monday.
Nika Kenchadze became the Champion in the 80 kg category, with Levan Kelekhsashvili earning silver in the 79 kg section and Mamuka Kordzaia finishing third in the 90+ kg group.
The second stage of the Series will run in the Spanish city of Sangenjo between June 18-19.
