Four Georgian athletes won gold at the Beach Wrestling World Series (BWWS) in Rio de Janeiro.
Levan Keleksashvili (70kg), Davit Khutsishvili (80kg), Davit Marsagishvili (90kg) and Mamuka Kordzaia (+90kg) “were on top of their wrestling throughout the two-day event, scoring a number of close victories and big throws”, the organisers said.

This was the second BWWS tournament, with the first being held in Portugal.
The Georgian athletes have two more tournaments ahead to qualify for the 2019 ANOC World Beach Games in San Diego this October.
