Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze has announced that his body will have a new structure to further enhance Georgia-EU ties.
The minister stated that the name of the structure will be the General Directorate for European Integration.
Janelidze explained that the new structure will unite some departments of the foreign ministry and former departments of the Ministry for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, which was merged with the Foreign Ministry last year.
Janelidze stated that the structure will bring together professionals to further enhance Georgia-EU positive relations.
The minister claimed that the structure will be "very stable” and various political reshuffles will not have an influence on it.
