Georgian Foreign Minister on working visit to US

Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze is paying a four-day visit to Washington, United States (US).
During his working visit to the US on April 3-6, Minister Janelidze has scheduled meetings at the US Department of State, the Office of the US Trade Representative and leading experts of scientific research centers working on Georgian issues.

In particular, Janelidze will meet with Wess Mitchell the Assistant Secretary of State and Jeffrey Gerrish the Deputy United States Trade Representative for Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Industrial Competitiveness.
Janelidze will further meet with the representatives of the US executive body and Congress as well as members of the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA).
Minister Janelidze will end his working visit to Washington on April 6.
Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze has announced that his body will have a new structure to further enhance Georgia-EU ties. The minister stated that the name of the structure will be the General Directorate for European Integration.
