Georgia’s border police have detained six foreign citizens for illegal crossing the country’s state border.
The Interior Ministry did not identify the detainees but announced two were citizens of Turkey and the remaining four were from Uzbekistan.
The six were trying together to illegally depart from Georgia to Turkey.
The detainees face 4-5 years in prison.
